Emerald Coast, Sardinia
Your holiday in Sardinia
The Emerald coast is also known for its incomparable beaches and secluded coves. About 80 coves together with the crystal-clear waters are true paradise for divers. Olbia is a vibrant and modern city that is surronded by the islands Tavolara and Molara. Just minutes away from Olbia, Porto Rotondo is located, its "la Piazzetta" created entirely in local stone, the little Church of San Lorenzo and the granite amphitheatre are of great architectural interest. Tavolara and Molara with their lush vegetation worth a day trip. You cannot forget Molarotto. It consists of giant granite blocks populated by water birds such as cormorants and Mediterranean gulls.
In the south of Tavolara there is Teddja Liscia, where you can admire red star fishes, groupers, yellow perches, and sea fans. The approximately 5 km long beach of La Cinta opposite the island is covered with white sand scented with juniper, rosemary and mastic.
